Canned Goods I find that I tend to go the archives much as one goes to canned goods prepared during the prior harvest season to feast on them later. I collect some pictures during the summer and fall and then set them aside to work from during the winter months. This photo, taken at the Big River Ranch a couple of years back, is of one of the reenactors during a photography event. I liked Mark's mustache of mustaches. An excellent horseman, he captures the spirit and life of the late 1800's. We had the privilege of sitting next to Rembrandt this past evening (our son the real artist in our family). The event was a Christmas gift he gave us to Pinot's Pallette. A, no art experience required, painting event. His work, admired by the event hosts, resulted in them opening their full palette of paint colors to him as needed. It was a great evening and has caused me to pull out some acrylics and give it a try. I certainly have enough material for painting subjects. _______________ "How rich art is; if one can only remember what one has seen, one is never without food for thought or truly lonely, never alone." - Vincent van Gogh
