PEACE Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. John 14:27

Normally when I'm looking for a word definition, I like to go to my Noah Webster 1828 American Dictionary of the English Language.  When I looked up the word 'peace' it wasn't quite the definition I was looking for (at least not for this story).  A search on another reliable source (ok, the Internet) provided a description that was closer to what I had in mind.  According to one site, the English word relies on the Hebrew root slm, meaning "to be complete" or "to be sound."  Close but not quite the words I was after.

What I was looking for were the words that describe our cat when he is curled up in his cat tree, snuggled on three sides and asleep.  Now that's peace.
