I can tell when I've been cooped up a little too long.  I go to the photo archives in search of a picture and begin a session of abstract mania.

This picture was originally the open shaft of a room size elevator, large enough to hold a small church service.  Those that carry a camera are taught to look up and look down for that unique perspective that might be worthy of bathing the image processor with available light, then (and what may be my own obsession) hand tossing in a bowl of digital editing processes.

By my own standards it is a bit of a mess, particularly since I like things to be in order (an occupational hazard of the left brained).  Nevertheless I like the colors and the -- well the abstract nature of this image.

"There is no abstract art. You must always start with something. Afterward you can remove all traces of reality." - Pablo Picasso

The picture and writ'n is approved by the Editor-in-Chief of this outfit.
