THE WATERCOLOR

This unique shop, located in the Silver Dollar City Midtown area, has been home to various crafts over the years. As far back as I can remember it was the Pottery Shop later followed by the Cornerstone Fine Metals, then the St. Louis Jewelry shop sharing room with the Glass Cutters. For a brief time it was a gift shop and now is home to Bishop's Watercolor Art (originally located back by the Opera House).

In contrast to the many occupants of the Jewelry shop "Tiny's Chair Repair Shop" (right side of the picture) has been in this spot for as long as I can remember. I've never met Tiny (or ever seen him for that matter). The sign on the door says "beware of crooks" -- apparently there are other, less than scrupulous, chair repair shops. If you ask me -- I'm only getting my chair's repaired at Tiny's.
